Truth Is Found Moment to Moment

August 5th ~ Truth cannot be accumulated.  What is accumulated is always being destroyed; it withers away.  Truth can never wither because it can only be found from moment to moment in every thought, in every relationship, in every word, in every gesture, in a smile, in tears.  And if you and I can find that and live it–the very living is the finding of it–then we shall not become propagandists; we shall be creative human beings, which is vastly different.

December 3rd, 2019 ~ I like that word propagandists.  We also try to hook people.  I first heard that concept from my mentor Don, who said the sales process tries to hook people.  I heard it again from Kongtrul Rinpoche, who said the ego is always trying to hook people, hook identity, hook anything to build itself up.  To give it meaning in this world.  We see this with data gathering.  Many companies aren’t making money but the idea is to build up data about their customers in order to increase the value of the company, possibly to sell the data or sell the business.  What is their product, really. . . .

As in most posts on Zentrepreneurial.com, italicization of words refers to the words of either Jiddu Krishnamurti or Albert Low.  The website writer’s words are in regular text.
